Hi all -saw this solitary bird among the godwits and a greylag goose - from a distance , at first sight it looked to be a marsh sand piper but on closer observation of the picture I discovered - it is not as dainty as the marsh sandpiper -- body is dumpy , the stance and the look is not quite like that of the marsh sandpiper -- Request please id for me -- thanks a lot -- cheers - chandrima
