One of the few images of the bird from India. All sightings from India seem restricted to Eastern part of Anjaw district bordering with China. Between 22nd to 25th April, we saw individuals and flocks of up to 8 on several occasions from ~3500 ft to 6000 ft in the pine forests typical of the region. They were feeding on pine cones and fruiting berry shrubs.
