There seems to be a lot of discussion regarding Curlew Sandpipers and Dunlins at this location. Found this image when I went through old files.
In my opinion the bird in front is a Curlew Sandpiper as the supercilium is distinct.
The bird at the back is a Dunlin as the beak is thick and supercilium is indistinct behind the eye.
I request confirmation regarding the above. This would help clear up confusion regarding these very similar species. Apologies for poor pics...they were taken against the light.
