[BirdPhotoIndia] Colors of Steppe #4 - Odd Couple

We were also presented with an amusing moment by this Steppe Eagle (Aquila nipalensis) and Griffon Vulture (Gyps fulvus) perched precariously on the top of a small acacia tree. While the Griffon seemed to be looking lovingly into the Eagles eyes, the Steppe seemed to be glaring back with its hackles raised. The Griffon kept inching closer to the Eagle without posturing aggressively, the uncomfortable Eagle finally flew off to a different perch. 'Gandhigiri' of the raptor world!
