The meadows beyond Namti also yielded the Black-headed Greenfinches, Grey Bushchats, Prinias which we couldnt ID from its call, Grey-backed Shrike, and a Pied Harrier, which flew up and soon got lost into the gentle valley not giving us an opportunity to photograph it. We also saw the Little and Chestnut-eared Buntings, the former also seen near the hotsprings at Walong.
-- Alas, the Godlewski's gave us a miss, as did the Japanese Sparrowhawk - the two other Walong specials.
Here is a pair of Greenfinches and the two Buntings.
