The Blue-winged Laughingthrush (Trochalopteron squamatum) is a super-skulker and probably for the first 5 sightings of this birds I had to be content with just seeing various parts, even in the later sightings it would never leave the dense undergrowth or the protection of the leaves and branches. This time around it not only did it give long views but also came out and sang in the open.
