Not many birding areas - at least that we know of - to the East of
Yamuna. We had Dadri in Greater Noida and Hasanpur in Ghaziabad.
Sarus Cranes were regularly spotted in these two area since we
started birding there since February 2007.
Now this newly found Wetland has thrown up not just the Sarus
but Common Crane too.
Here is a comparison shot - just got a frame or two out of hundreds clicked -
of the two showing the size difference.
