(delhibirdpix) Tal Chapar: Yellow Eyed Pigeon Breeding display

Tal Chapar WLS, Dist  Churu, Rajasthan today 28th March 2010 with  Sh. Poonia, Range Forest Officer.

This beauty had disappeared for about  a month in Feb and reappeared about 15 days back and is still here. There are two individuals only. Both have substantial changes in Plumage, I guess assuming Breeding Plumage now.

Were displaying to each other in the morning today - Puffing their throat and coming close  to each other in a kind of dance. This is also the first time Mr. Poonia has observed any kind of display to each other. Is there  an expert who can shed more light on this?
