15th April, 2010 at Dibrugarh, Assam. We had a brief period of sunlight for an hour or so after 20 odd days of rain! Went to my usual haunt to find it flooded, in fact the river had broken its banks. Waded shin deep in water just to enjoy the experience of being in the field after such a long time. Some of the more uncommon species (for me) found were Chestnut-capped Babbler, Dusky Warbler, Cinnamon Bittern and another Babbler I have not been able to identify or photograph.
Also found this bird. This one is a ‘lifer’ for me. Is this a Clamorous Reed Warbler? Request help.
Thank you
Raj
