Another of the "Quick Gun Murugan's" of the North East that are usually encountered in mixed hunting flocks & found in low bushes and bamboo in rhododendron forest. This species is also called as Brown-throated Tit-babbler or Ludlow's Fulvetta. Quite interestingly this one from Arunachal shows dark iris and the ones photographed in the western Himalayas show a pale iris (and only which is lustrated in the field guides). Just a record shot of this cute fellow, since I really didnt get opportunity for serious photography when "showing birds" to the participants in my trips was the priority.
