The hornbills are a major attraction at Rajaji, especially the
Oriental Pied. During my short 4 hour jeep safari, I had good views of
around 20 grey hornbills (many in groups) and fleeting glimpses of 3
oriental pied hornbills.
And - though this may not be relevant on this forum - my first clear
darshan of a wild elephant on my third trip to the park in four years.
Finally!!
Two record shots of the hornbills (what else, when they don't let you
get down from the jeep!).
Like humans, I guess they have their own food preferences - veg and non-veg.
