Half-way through the jeep safari at Rajaji, I noticed a tiny blob
far-far away on one of the tall trees that line the hills on both
sides of the vast plains within the park.
Instinct told me that it could be a raptor, and I am glad I looked
through the binocs. It was a King!
My first sighting of this prized species had come four years back at
Rajaji, and as luck would have it, my next sighting had come once
again at the same site!
Just a record shot - what with the huge distance - but a prized moment
nevertheless.
