it was good birding around a water body and wet agricultural fields and scrubby field -- saw common and painted snipes lots of wood sand pipers- SPOTTED red shank in breding plumage (totally black )red headed buntings, red avadavats--silver bills , sarus cranes , wooly necked, yellow tailed wagtals - lots of blue throats--egyptian vulture--indian bushlarks--spot bills--two wrynecks in the field( was a pleasant surprise)-black headed ibis - common moor hens -- oriental sky larks-- purple swamp hens looking unusually large-- on way back to delhi -- at okhla saw --3-4 widgeons-- gull (only one)tufted ducks 5-6 of them and the spotted owlets in the banyan tree-- chandrima
