May 1st week, this year, we had a birding tour at Jayanti, Buxa and Chilapata forest. Though not a good time for birding at these places , we encountered a number of birds, some are lifer to me. Here is a chestnut bellied nuthatch with food on it's beak for her babies, found at Bhutia basti in Jayanti.
