This baby White Breasted Kingfisher was seen at a bambo forest at Shyamkhola, West Bengal on 6th Jume 2010. It was looking here and there helplessly - pahaps searching for its mother. It was too little to walk or to fly away. I went very close to it to take this shot (I could not resist myself). Our team had a thought of rescuing it and to put it in its nearby nest. But suddenly we found its mother and left the place immediately so that the mother could take care of its baby.
