Hi
a short morning walk in the Patuli area yielded this gorgeous Black-rumped Flameback woodpecker...
earlier this species was called Golden-backed woodpecker,
these birds were very common in the area...as were their smaller Fulvous breasted cousins...
and just got a glimpse of the Streak-throated woodpecker high up on a Sirish tree.
cheers!
