A common species from Nagaland though difficult to photograph. I think summer / breeding season makes them a little braver as we found them approchable on many occasions. The male (with black postocular stripe) was photographed in Khonoma and the female near Pungro in E Nagaland. Both with Canon 1D M IV + 500mm +1,4x.
