(delhibirdpix) Chunabhati bird

Hi
spotted this marvellous Black Bulbul at Chunavati village near Buxa Fort.
A short period of sunny weather and clear sky allowed us to do some good birding on the way to Chunavati village. This Bulbul was common in the higher altitudes of Buxa Tiger Rerserve. I was very eager to go to Rover's Point- the land of unknown birds. The slippery and steep slopes and the leech-laden thickets prevented us from exploring the Rover's Point Area. The trek routes in these hills were abuzz with different hill birds. I will mention the details in the trip report soon.
cheers!
Shantanu.
