Wildlife Institute of India, which has been given the assignment of Developing a Management Plan for OBP-WLS, has convened a 'Consultative Meeting' on 18th June at Delhi. It is a day long meeting.
I have been requested to attend the Meeting. In my opinion, It would be worthwhile if Delhi Bird Group is represented by a few of its Members. I am sure they would welcome such participation.
Please do let me know who all would like to attend the meeting and participate. We would need to meet a day or two before that to finalize our views. I would then co-ordinate with them.
Also, would appreciate your suggestions if you are unable to participate. So far I have received responses from just three members.
Regards.

As most of you are aware that Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun has been awarded an assignment of Developing a Management Plan for OBP-WLS by NOIDA following the filing in Supreme Court of the PIL on the Concretisation of park next to OBP, as fee of Rs.75 Lacs.
I had run into Prof. Dhanjanjai Mohan, IFS of WII and is in charge of developing the Management Plan late last month (quite a few might know him or of him as a Bird Watcher).
He asked for suggestions from Bird Group.
My suggestions are enclosed herewith. Would appreciate if you could please send to me any suggestions that you have. I would then summarize all the suggestions and forward these to Prof. Mohan for discussion with Delhi Bird Group. The purpose of this request is just to gather everyone's suggestions and not to critique the suggestion (s) and start a debate.
I have uploaded a file on delhi bird site in the files section with the link as:

and look for Suggestions - OBP-WLS Management Plan in today's date.
