Enjoy picture of Little Bittern( Ixobrychus minutus) from Sam Post,in Desert National Park, Jaisalmer. The Little Bittern had an injury in its leg and was attended by Sam forest chowki staff for few days before releasing it back to a big flooded area in July 2001 ,next to village Sam. Picture is not so good as it was taken by me using a film camera . A copy of this birds picture was also given to Richard Grimmitt during our IBCN coordinators meet at IGRI, Goregaon . Mumbai.
