(delhibirdpix) Shikra taking a sparrow

This small raptor alighted  at the bird feeder in my house last morning. Looked left and right, inspected the feeder, landed near the rose bush, walked up and caught a house sparrow (I guess a subadult) which was hiding under a basket (not visible to me). Flew atop the wall, mobbed by the house crows, flew way.

As a happy surprise, a Brown Rock Chat turned up at the feeder after a few minutes.
