Spotted 3 of these black and white stilts on route to Tajpur, in one of the bheri-s... they seemed in good comfort in the habitat and those 3 were also present on the day of return (after 2 days)... seemed that they were resident to that particular bheri... i recently got the info that black-winged stilts are getting a bit rare in these parts... so am happy to share... experts please opine on the authenticity of the fact... Picture taken on 09.07.10 at Tajpur (near mandarmoni)...
