As we reached the water pump area and were getting into the boat to go towards the Heronry the Black bittern flew past and landed close by on the shore. This is the closet I have seen the Black Bittern.

Sur Sarovar is large water body linked to the Yamuna river and has water through the year. Located just 15 KM short of Agra on the Delhi Agra rd.
