[BirdPhotoIndia] Haliastur indus

The white and chestnut combination of the Brahminy Kite against a lush green backdrop looked so very beautiful. Also it was mesmerising to watch them dive for fish into the waters of the Chilka at Balugaon and pretty impressive to see crows too, not to be outdone, do the same. Several times the kite tried to steal away the fish from the crow but without success.              Chilka, Orissa. 15August'10.
