| Increase in rampant tourism in remote Ladakh region of India is threatening to destroy highly fragile eco-system. In the absence of any garbage-disposal system, this breeding bird finds its habitat littered with trash. This was taken in Ladakh in June 2010. Equipment used: Nikon D300S & Nikkor 500mm lens.
