Sharing with all of you some shots of the habitat at Mangalajodi, Orissa. The watchtower in the first shot affords a nice view of the wetlands and one can take small country boats from a sort of jetty next to the tower.The third shot captures a pitiful moment for a pair of Pheasant-tailed Jacana who lost one of its eggs to a House Crow. We just watched helplessly as the marauder flew off with its booty.
A trip report of sorts follows within a few days.
