(delhibirdpix) The Commoners - # 93.02 - Eurasian Wryneck (Jynx torquilla) - 2010-235

Among the first ones to come down this season possibly.
Taken at Dadri Wetlands on 14th. The area is likely to last another
season perhaps.
The Lake is flooding - caused by the embankments created by HCL - and
the road where we normally park was flooded for about 50 meters.
Also, saw a phenomenon for the first time in reality - fish (I do not
remember the Collective Noun but possibly 'run of fish') crossing the
road exactly where we park cars. Could not manage an image.
A Black-Necked Stork pair is making nest in Penthouse atop a Electric
Pylon (it has flat top) and hopefully breeds.
Ducks can be seen in flight - no way to approach the east or west side
viewing points as yet with everything submerged.

Cheers.
