There are some fantastic images of this bird in the net..i really do not know how they managed it. for me, this bird though not elusive or shy but is an absolute teaser. 'Click,..tit,,tit,,titterrreee'..ensures a rush of adrenalin and the approach climb/ crawl/ run/ walk/ tiptoe towards the call starts..but just when you see it, u come to know that it was watching your funny, unlike human moves all along and promptly vanishes. The call would start again after about ten minutes or less, some distance away on a different perch.. The same story would be repeated again and again..After three years of failure and a full days effort, i was driving back dejected once again when i heard the call once again. Stopped the car, located the bird and took off on a tangent..turned towards only after crossing it and keeping the setting sun behind me..with every call i wound spring for three four steps and freeze..it took long but paid off..and finally the victory came,,the distance closed to about fifty feet, 200 plus shots and a video of the calls...At Jamnagar.. --
