Kewzing, South Sikkim, India (1700m) was a good base for operations as we could commute easily to Maenam (3500m) and also lower down. A 20 km drive brought us down to the Rangit River (350 m) where on the broadleaved and bamboo covered slopes overlying the river, our excellent guide and host Chewang Bonpo searched out the Sultan Tit for us.
