Name of species-  Clamator jacobinus Common Name-  Pied Cuckoo Family-  Cuculidae Status-   not common summer visitor Photo taken on-  2.11.2010 At-  Jamwa ramgarh Dam,Jamwa ramgarh Sanctury,Jaipur,Rajastan, India Description The Pied Cuckoo brood-parasite in our area it lay their eggs in Babbler's nest  after throwing owner's eggs .This year monsoon interval some how expanded so I noticed in the month of November that Jungle Babbler  with two chicks of pied cuckoo and one of its own. Chicks of pied cuckoo are in same posture as babbler with same call for demanding feed. Regards,Devendra Bhardwaj
