Hi,
This Oriental Magpie Robin stays at my home and its favourite perch is the branches of our mango tree. Shot on 25.10.10
Recently two Black Drongos are also visiting my place and early every morning, around 6/6:30 they come and practise their vocal chords for quite some time making others irritated including this O.M.Robin. Today morning they attracted quite an audience...three to four House Crows, O. Magpie Robins,Red-vented Bulbuls,Asian Pied Starlings and Common Mynas. Along with their harsh calls, they were making some low guttural sounds too that I was hearing for the first time. Naturally this songster, the O.M.Robin was not liking them at all!
Regards,
Maitreyee
