Sharing few bird shots from my Uttaranchal trip during 15-22 Oct,2010.
This series is from Mayabati - the famous Adwaita Ashram , Ramkrishna Mission where Swami Vivekanada stayed in 1901.
The place is very peaceful, surrounded by himalayan beauty.
I expected more birds here, but I found only the following during my 2 days stay here :
Large Billed Crow, Rufous Sibia, Black Headed Jay,Brown Fronted Woodpecker and Rofous Bellied Woodpecker, BlackFaced Tit, Scarlet Minivet, Bar Tailed Tree Creeper.
Rufous Sibia and Rufous Bellied Woodpecker seen within Ashrama area.
