[BirdPhotoIndia] Uttaranchal Birds_3_3

Hi Friends

From Ramgarh in Oct 19-20, 2010.
The place is rich in varieties of birds -
We found Green backed Tit, Black Throated Tit and Black lored Tit in good numbers.
Other birds spotted are Grey Bush Chat, Himalayan Bulbul, Chestnut Bellied Nuthatch, Blue Whistling Thrush, Common Iora, Woodpeckers, Rufous Sibia, Streaked Laughing Thrush, Russet Sparrow, Black Headed Jay, Slaty Headed Parakeet (it is a lifer for me). Spangled Drongo, Verditer Flycatcher, Grey Hooded Warbler and two unidentified Raptors.
Not a bad list for one day stay.

The shot of Woodpecker is very poor - and I am not confident of it's id. Request identification from experts.

Thanks
Dalia
