(delhibirdpix) West Delhi rooftop: Plum-headed Parakeet

Saakshara Apts, Pashim Vihar, New Delhi, September 15, 2010

In September, I was able to spend a few hours at my favourite spot in
India - the rooftop of my parent's apartment in urban, crowded West
Delhi (Paschim Vihar).
The quality and variety of birds possible from the rooftop continues
to amaze me (fingers crossed).
Plum-headed/Rose-ringed and Alexandrine Parakeets can all be seen and
photographed there.
Pum-headed: endemic to the Indian Subcontinent. .
