(delhibirdpix) Harike Survey 2011

The Harike Waterfowl Census was carried out on 22/02/2011. WWF, BNHS, Chandigarh Bird Club members along with the Harike forest staff conducted this exercise from 9 AM to 12 Noon. Total no. of birds recorded was 1,00,124 Last year the count was 79,699. Am attaching the detailed breakup for both the years. The Chandigarh team comprised of Rima, Narbir, Jagjit,Ankur, Samrath & self. Regards- Navjit
