Hello dear all, yesterday afternoon I came across this unknown bird in extremely deep thickets in CKBS. My sincere apologies to you all for extremely poor images, as the light was the worst possible out there. I tracked the bird for around 30 minutes following it up all the more into the depths of the trees and creepers. There were 2 of them hopping around from branch to branch along with 2 White-throated Fantails in the vicinity. I knew I had caught something out of the ordinary. After returning back home, I mailed the pictures to my friend and fellow birder Mr. Shantanu Bhattacharya. He was the one who first identified it to be a Golden-spectacled Warbler. I would also thank Mr. Sumit Sen for his help on this one. I request to include the species in the checklist of CKBS. Thanks.
Regards
