Hi,
A few images of Purple Herons shot at Mangalajodi, India. They were in good numbers there but we saw one or two Grey Herons only. The last image was taken on the 30th of Jan,2011 and the other two on the 29th. The last one is just a distant record shot showing how they pierce a fish while catching them ( not very distinct though ).
