This Blunt-winged Warbler was spotted in the Kalikapur wetlands of
Kolkata yesterday. It was one of the warblers of these reedbeds that
was the most easy to photograph. It preened itself perched on the
water hyacinth for a few minutes, thereby giving me and my friend
Debarshi the opportunity to take some good snaps. But at first both of
us mistook the bird for a Plain Prinia,
