(delhibirdpix) Help with Id: Speckled Piculet?

Taken at Rajaji NP on March 20. There was a pair of these tiny birds.
They kept popping in and out of what was probably a "nest" in a gash
in the branch. Extremely difficult to even make out high up on the
tree against the bark, let alone photograph. I noticed them the first
time when they drove out a visiting Flameback which dwarfs this bird.
I think all the pictures I managed are of one bird only.
