(delhibirdpix) The Migratory Waterfowl - # 16.00 - Garganey (Anas querquedula) 2011-072

Spent a few hours this morning at Okhla Bird Park, South-East of Delhi, India.
Migratories are moving back and summer breeders are becoming active.

Highlight was the sighting of a Red-Throated or Breasted Flycatcher.
Missing completely were the Munia, Silverbills, Weavers and Warblers.

This was made up by a pair of Garganey swimming within reasonable imaging distance.

A Male.

Cheers.
