(delhibirdpix) Black-naped Oriole- CKBS today

Hi
visited Chintamani Kar Bird Sanctuary today morning. I went to the bamboo glade on the lefthand side with Mr.Anish Biswas, and we heard loud shrill call of a bird foraging on the topmost branches of a raintree. Then we spotted a Black-naped Oriole- a bird that is seldom seen in CKBS. I got this bird earlier at Indian Botanic Garden, Shibpur.
This individual (a juvenile) refused to come down to the lower branches and so we had to be satisfied with few long-distance shots.
Bird-enthusiast Mr.Nabarun Saddhya got some good shots of the adult Black-naped Oriole in CKBS few days back.

regards
Shantanu.
