(delhibirdpix) The Commoners - # 69.11 - Black-Necked Stork (Ephippiorhynchus asiaticus) - 2011-117

Despite the destruction that is happening around at Dadri Wetlands, the Black-Necked Stork Family is doing fine.
The three Young Ones born in Dec/Jan hang around in the wetland - feeding, flying, chasing - under the watchful eye of at least one parent being around with in 50 meters or so and the other probably flying around and may be exploring the new sites to stay in when Dadri is finally destroyed.

Here is an image - the siblings fighting or playing around a fish cought by one on 23rd. Image taken from a mile and hence has a lot of noise.

Cheers.

Cheers.
