(delhibirdpix) The Migratory Birds of Prey - # 03.09 - Peregrine Falcon (F. p. calidus) - 2011-124

Though believed to have migrated back by mid March, this is second sighting of a Peregrine Falcon on 28th April.
Got the guy/gal exactly two years ago at Basai and this morning at Dadri Wetlands.

It was harrying a flock of Black-tailed Godwits and Black-winged Stilts when spotted first. Then, it rested for quite some time before taking two short flights and then came back to give some shots before flying off.
