(delhibirdpix) trip to Corbet

Hi all---- Returned after a short trip to Corbet a few days ago -- saw some
lifers and a few other usual hill birds along with a tiger -:)

check list of lifers:-
rosy minivet
chestnut headed beeeater
black stork
bar-winged flycatcher shrike
crimson subird
flocks of red breasted parakeets
black crested bulbul
little pied flycatcher-- both male and female
grey capped pygmy wood pecker
flower pecker -- appeared to be thick billed -- pankaj will be sending the
pic
streak throated woodpecker
changeable hawk eagle
stork billed kingfisher
red jungle fowl
a warbler -- which Nitu thought looked like a dusky warbler
Banded bay cuckoo

names of the other hill birds seen -
flocks of plain martins ; oriental white eye;chestnut tailed starlings;spangled
drongos; black bulbuls; himalayan bulbuls; chestnut breasted nuthatch;
bluecapped rock thrush; oriental honey buzzard; common wood shrike; black rumped
flameback ;Crested king fisher- -white capped water red start etc..

There was a stream close by to the lodge where we found the fish and the marsh
sandpiper

it was a fun enjoyable trip--cheers -- chandrima
