[BirdPhotoIndia] JBQ - catch me if you can

There was this group of three Jungle Bush Quail (Perdicula asiatic), 2 male and 1 female  that were scampering about. Sometime into the run the female realised that the running plan didn't include her and stood on the sidelines and watched the 2 males along with us.
The 2 males in the meanwhile kept running around, literally in circles over the rocks and in the bushes, tripping over and bumping into each other but not stopping. There was no pecking or scratching, in fact no violence at all. Their gait and their antics made them very comical to say the least and they stole the thunder from the sloth bears whom we had gone to watch.
After nearly half an hour of running around the bushes, albeit without the female. One male stopped and walked away dejectedly, the happy couple then walked into the sunset (except that it was closer to noon)
Here are the males on their run to prove their endurance.
