(delhibirdpix) Fork-tailed Drongo Cuckoo

In Manipal, Karnataka (India) on 26.05.2011

Camera: Canon SX10 IS

Notes: These birds completely vanish from the region from mid February - mid May (atleast I have no records from this period) and are pretty much regular otherwise, with most individuals occupying the same areas throughout. Two individuals were seen today for the first time since 22nd February, although when at their peak (just about end of Monsoon in October-November), 5-8 birds are consistent.

Cheers,
Ramit
