Hello all,
The Baltimore Oriole is a new world oriole of Icterus genus and belongs more to the blackbird family. It is unrelated to the 'our' Orioles, though the contrasting colours of Icterus (black and orange) and Orilidae (yellow and black) is a commonality as are their size, diet and behaviour.
