(delhibirdpix) Indian Roller from Rajarhat today

Hi

visited Rajarhat marshes of Kolkata today morning with birders Mr.Debarshi Chakraborty, and his uncle Mr.Amitava Banerjee.

Our birding started with the chance sighting of an Indian Roller (rarely seen in Kolkata)...and ended with another surprise...the sighting of a male Pacific Golden Plover ( the first sighting of the species in Rajarhat)...Pic posted earlier.
