| hi,today 16th sept 2011,a very special day for me. on my regular birding route very close to my house,i saw two birds chasing each other. i stopped the car and took a look at the pair and to my surprise they were peregrine falcon pair. the chase ended in a black winged stilt kill,made by male in not even a fraction of a second uuffffff.i watch it all through bino. the male took the kill behind sugarcane fields and my view was blocked. after around 45 mnts the birds flew from there and sat on elec pole. the pictures are pathetic but probably its quite early to see them down south?? regards niranjan |
