[BirdPhotoIndia] Plumbeous water redstart, Sattal

At a stream in Sattal area, a pair of plumbeous water redstarts flew about as we scanned the edges of the water for forktails. After some time we noticed the male perched on a tree with a catch, and a few minutes later he flew down to a bare rock displaying and fanning his tail repeatedly. During all this time the female kept her distance. Finally he seemed to give up and gobbled up the insect himself. 11 April '11.

Cheers, Garima
